Designers In-between is a documentary revealing Hong Kongs creative industry through the lens of a range of start ups to industrys leading professionals. It is an introduction to what lies in the near future for creatives; rather than working in-house, creating micro brands and working as an independent consultant.
Documentarists, Jonathan Ramalho and Oliver Lehtonen met for the first time during their multidisciplinary studies in the Hong Kong in 2013. Without previous movie making experience the duo set out on a bootstrapping adventure through Hong Kongs creative industries and into the wildness of Chinas manufacturing.
